It was a sad day when James Jean stopped creating the covers for Fables from Vertigo Comics, but in the past year their new artist Joao Ruas has blown me away with his covers.  His paintings are haunting with a touch of fairy tale beauty… can’t wait for the next issue just to see what he comes up with next.
