Sheryo and The Yok have joined forces again with this awesome new collabo in support of saving 5Pointz. This infamous street art filled part of NY is getting new facelifts constantly and the latest creepy addition is just stellar. These two are known for putting out incredible neutral colored bold collaborations with this one being no different. I am loving the opioid den induced imagery that makes for a totally fun and bizarre wall.
As an addition to his “Les Bons Sauvages” (noble savages) show opening this week @ StolenSpace Gallery in London, Joram Roukes is releasing a handprinted 3 color silkscreen print on Simili Japan 225gr paper, limited to an edition of 50 – all signed, numbered and hand finished by Joram himself. With his typical disfigured animal/human embodiments, set in both historical and culturally modern context this print totally rocks and is a must have… you know you want this insanity on your wall, so check out StolenSpace’s online shop, where it will be available for online purchase as of Thursday.

Our hearts go out to those affected by Friday’s shooting in Newton, CT… in the words of Joe Iurato‘s cutout “send love to Newton.”
Hello friends! Right now many of our fellow New Jerseyans and New Yorkers are in need of help in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Many homes and lives have been affected and nearly ruined but we are a strong and resilient community of loud-mouthed people, so here’s another chance to help out!
For the next week (until 11/12) we will be running a Hurricane Sandy disaster relief fundraiser, where the first 25 people who pledge to donate $50 or more to the Red Cross, Community Foodbank of New Jersey, @OccupySandy, or a community foodbank in the affected areas will get a limited edition Joe Iurato tee (above). You will be required to forward us a confirmation receipt from your donation of choice that can be emailed to: email@example.com, along with a shirt size (S, M, and L available) and a mailing address and we’ll ship them out to you within 2 weeks.
Thanks so much and please stay in touch with your local communities for any assistance that they may need – the more of us that help, the quicker we will rebuild a better us. Every bit is needed.
